Because of the postponement of the Reserves last two scheduled fixtures against Manchester Utd and Bolton Wanderers the last time Keith Bertschins side were in league action was way back on December 10th last year when they were beaten 3-0 by last seasons league title runners-up Sunderland at Durham FC's Archibald Stadium.
