Alexi, a highly regarded midfielder and at 20 the elder of the two, is currently plying his trade at HJK Helsinki and he is excepted for trials at St. Andrew's within the next fortnight.
His brother Roman, another midfielder player, is just 16 and is set to accompany his elder to Birmingham for trials also.
Blues currently have one Finn on the books at St. Andrew's in Mikael Forssell who is on an initial four month loan spell from Chelsea.
