Bowen Back As Wales Coach

Last updated : 03 August 2004 By Brian Cartlidge

Bowen, who was surprisingly sacked from his role as Steve Bruce's right-hand man earlier this summer, has taken up the role again after two years away from the international scene.

He had been working part-time under Wales manager Mark Hughes until Blues were promoted to the Premiership two seasons ago when Steve Bruce insisted he quit the role and concentrate on helping Blues maintain their top-flight status.

Wales are in international action on August 18th when they travel to take on Latvia in a friendly game.
