Bruce: Dunn Is A Class Act

The clubs record signing put in his best performance in a Blues shirt against Blackburn on Saturday since he terrorised the Southampton defence in the second half of the away game at St. Mary's at the start of the season and Bruce was quick to sing the midfielders praise after the 4-0 FA Cup win against Dunns former club.

"David Dunn is an outstanding footballer," said the Blues boss after the game at St. Andrew's.

"Let him just settle down, let him get away from home, he is a fantastic talent.

"We saw glimpses of him today. He does things that no-one else can do and we've seen all those good things today.

"I thought it was by far his best performance of the season."

The highlight for me was the dummy he played on Markus Babbel on the halfway line before leaving the Rovers defender for dead and setting up Blues second goal. That alone was worth the entrance fee!
