Bruce looking for three points

Bolton are just one place below Blues and only five points behind but Bruce says he will send the team out to try and win the game.

"It's important not to get beaten," Bruce told the B'ham Evening Mail.

"I will be picking my side to try and win the game, that's the philosophy I always go with and there's no reason to change now.

"In this division I don't think you can go out and try to get a draw, it doesn't work like that.

"Every team in the Premiership has a player or two capable of a bit of magic to turn a game, and Bolton are no exception.

"They are wounded after losing to Everton on Wednesday. They got a lot of criticism for that performance and will be wanting to make amends," he added.

"From our point of view, if we can win and move eight points clear of them, it would be fantastic."
