Bruce: Morrison Going Nowhere

Last updated : 04 December 2003 By Brian Cartlidge

Morrison is yet to start a League game for Blues since dislocating his shoulder in the home game with West Brom last March and although he has now fully recovered from that injury he can't force his way back into Steve Bruce's starting eleven.

The Republic of Ireland international was rumoured to be interesting Sunderland where his former international team boss Mick McCarthy is now in charge but Morrison says that this is not the case while Bruce told the Birmingham Evening Mail that he's 'not spoken to McCarthy' and that 'he's never rung about Clinton'.

Morrison is going nowhere the Blues boss has stated.
