Bruce pleased with Taylor debut

Taylor, playing his first league game for Blues since his season long loan deal from Fulham, was given the number one jersey in preference to long serving Ian Bennett and Bruce was more than pleased with the Northern Ireland internationals debut.

"It was nice to see someone come out and catch the ball," Bruce told reporter Tom Ross, on Capital Gold Radio, after the game.

"For his debut he can be delighted. Having signed David Dunn and Luciano Figueroa there has not been so much hype about Maik but he is a very good goalkeeper.

"I am delighted we have got him."
