The 32-year-old keeper could find himself third choice behind Maik Taylor and Nico Vaesen again this season and the Blues boss has said that the hard-up Yorkshire side have expressed an interest in taking Benno to Elland Road.
However, Blues will want a fee for Benno, who still has another one year to run on his present deal at St Andrew's, and Leeds financial situation has been well publicised.
Benno has made over 300 appearances since moving to St Andrew's from Peterborough for £325,000 back in December 1993 when he was manager Barry Fry's first signing as Blues boss.
