Bruce's most satisfying season

After the 3-0 sucess at St. Andrew's - Blues seventh win in the last nine games - Bruce said: "It's been the toughest season of my career but also the most satisfying and keeping the club in the Premiership has been the biggest achievement of my entire career.

"I'm delighted for everybody at the club at securing our Premiership status. At the start of the season that was what we set out to do.

"We were originally odds on favourites to go down but all credit to everybody concerned at the club - from the board to the supporters and the backroom staff - but more importantly the players.

"They put on another show today which is why they have won four games on the trot and they ran out worthy winners today on their attitude alone.

"It was a fantastic achievement by all of them and they deserve all the plaudits they get because they have been a great bunch to work with and I couldn't be more pleased.

"We will be able to enjoy the last two fixtures. We can enjoy the summer but then we will go again when the kick-off comes around again in August."
