The on-loan Blues midfielder, who has already served a three game suspension for the sending off at Fratton Park last month, was also fined £8,500 at a discplinary hearing today (Tuesday).
Butt's extra one game ban means he will now be forced to sit-out the first Birmingham derby of the season at St Andrew's on October 16th.
