Cahill Opts For Bolton Move

Blues had reportedly matched Bolton's bid of £5million for the 22-year-old centre-back but he has now penned a three-and-a-half year deal at The Reebok.

"It is the right move for me to come to Bolton," Cahill has said.

"I had a look around their set-up and met with the manager and Chairman, and I was impressed with what I saw and heard."
