Lee Carsley has signed for former club Coventry City.
The 36-year-old midfielder, who was released by Blues earlier this summer, has joined the Sky Blues as a free agent and has penned a one year contract at The Ricoh Arena.
Carsley spent two years at Coventry between 2000 and 2002 before moving to Everton from whom he joined Blues in 2008.
He becomes the second former Sky Blue to rejoin his former club from Blues this summer following Gary McSheffrey's move to The Ricoh Arena, also as a free agent, earlier this month.
"Lee has a track record as a winner," Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd told his club's official website.
"He is a leader and has played at the highest level and knows what is required to win on a regular basis.
"Any good team needs a balance of talent, experience, physical presence, pace and, obviously, footballing ability.
"I want Lee to be the glue that binds the team together because he has all of those."
