The Blues left-back was stretchered from the pitch with a nasty cut on his ankle 41 minutes into the 3-0 defeat against Manchester City at Eastlands on Wednesday night and manager Steve Bruce confirmed after the game that Clapham is unlikely to have recovered in time for the trip to Goodison on saturday.
