Clemence fee agreed with Spurs

The news comes on the same day that Blues agreed a £1 million fee with Ipswich for defender Jamie Clapham - a move that the left sided player is now thinking over after talks at the club.

Clapham has now returned to Suffolk to talk over the move with his family.

Clemence will join the Blues subject to passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.

"We've agreed a fee for him and we meet Stephen on Wednesday when we hope we can agree terms with him," said Blues co-owner David Sullivan.

Clemence has only recently to full fitness after recovering from a long-term injury and has made just one appearance for Tottenham this season.
