Devlin on the bench for Scots

Last updated : 13 October 2002 By Brian Cartlidge
Called up for the first time, Devlin had to settle for a place amongst the Scottish substitutes as manager Bertie Vogts went with experience in attack in a game the Scots had to win after a disappointing result in their last game against The Faroe Isles.

Scotland: Douglas, Wilkie, Pressley, Dailly, Ross, McNamara, Lambert, Ferguson, Naysmith, Crawford, Thompson. Subs: Gallacher, Davidson, McFadden, Anderson, Gemmill, Devlin, Severin.

Result: Iceland 0 - Scotland 2
