With injuries to Paul Lambert, Barry Ferguson, Jackie McNamara and Neil McCann, Scotland manager Bertie Vogts will hand a first start to the Blues winger.

Vogts said: "I'm looking forward to this match and it will give others international opportunities.

"Paul Devlin will start and Paul Gallacher also needs more experience as he has only had 20 minutes in Hong Kong.

"I'll wait to see how Gary Naysmith is before I decide on my team.Stevie Crawford and Steven Thompson did well on Saturday and I am looking for them to carry on where they left off."

Devlin was on the substitutes bench in Scotland's 2-0 Euro 2004 victory over Iceland on Saturday.
