Dunn Eyes Charlton Game

Last updated : 15 September 2004 By Brian Cartlidge

Dunn is yet to make a first team start this season after aggravating his troublesome hamstring in the pre-season friendly at Sheffield Wednesday in July.

The influencial Blues midfielder has now undergone injections in his back in an attempt to rid himself of the ongoing hamstring problems he has sustained since joining Blues last summer and says he hopes to be available for selection for the game against Alan Curbishley's side at St Andrew's this weekend.

With no scheduled reserves team fixture this week Dunn, along with Darren Anderton, Jamie Clapham and possibly Stan Lazaridis are to play in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Thursday in a bid to regain full match fitness.
