David Dunn

Dunn limped-off less than half-an-hour into the the Jimmy Walker testimonial at the Bescot with what has been revealed as a hip injury and although he will be a doubt for the final pre-season fixture of the close-season against Real Mallorca on Saturday, Bruce expects the record signing to be fit for when the real action begins a week on Saturday.

“Dunny is sore. We’ll see how he is in the morning. It’s nothing too serious and we took him off as a precaution more than anything," Bruce told the Birmingham Post.

“He’s got a kick on his hip but I think he’ll be okay for the start of the season.”
