Dunny Misses Chelsea Clash

Blues' record signing has been forced to miss training with a slight hamstring strain and it has been decided that he will not be fit in time for the live television clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

News of Dunns exclusion is a major blow for Blues boss Steve Bruce who will also be without two more attack-minded players in Mikael Forssell, denied permission by Chelsea to play in the game, and Christophe Dugarry who is injured and begins a three game suspension anyway.

All thoughts return to the corresponding fixture last season when Blues were, in my opinion, absolutely slaughtered by Chelsea when Bruce took a patched up side to the Bridge - midfielder Daryl Powell being used as an emergency left-back that day. This time around Chelsea have about another £100 million worth of players to choose from! We'll just have to make do with taking a point then I guess
