Duo named in Ireland squad

New Republic of Ireland team manager Brian Kerr has named both Blues players in his 26 man squad for the match against Scotland at Hampden Park, Glasgow, on Wednesday February 12th.

The duo's inclusion brings the total number of Blues players on international duty that week to six with Robbie savage (Wales), Stan Lazaridis (Australia), Piotr Swierczewski (Poland) and Darren Carter (England under-20's) all recieving call-ups for their respective countries this week.

However, with the FA cup fifth round games scheduled for the weekend of 15/16th February, none of the players will miss any Premiership games for Blues.
