Duo Out For A Month

Striker O'Connor sustained a groin injury during the pre-match warm-up ahead of Blues' game against QPR on Tuesday night and will be sidelined for at least a month with the injury.

Full-back Parnaby was strechered-off just 12 minutes into the 1-0 defeat against Rangers at Loftus Road with a hamstring injury and he is expected to be sidelined for anything up to four weeks.

Blues boss Alex McLeish has plenty of options in filling O'Connors role but the right back position will be of concern to him as Stephen Kelly is currently sidelined with a torn thigh muscle.

However, youngster Jared Wilson, who deputised for Parnaby at Loftus Road, did a good job in the right back role against Rangers and so he seems the obvious choice to replace Parnaby for the next match against Coventry City in front of the Sky tv camera's at St Andrews on Monday night.
