The last Manchester City game that Mr Durkin refereed was in their 3-1 away defeat at Tottenham on 28th December when Shaun Wright-Phillips was their only player cautioned.

In total, Mr Durkin has been in charge of 14 Premier League games this season in which 31 yellows and just one red card have been brandished, that being Newcastles Andy O'Brien in their game at Chelsea back in November last year.
