Fagan hints at Colchester stay

Fagan is halfway through a third and final months loan deal with the U's and after scoring his third goal for the Layer Road side in their league fixture with Stockport on Tuesday night the young striker hinted that he would be keen to extend the deal into a full season.

Fagan told the Evening Gazette : "Everything will have to be sorted out in the next week.

"I need to know from Birmingham what is happening about my contract.

"If they want me to carry on as I am I will be more than happy to stay on loan at Colchester for the rest of the season."
