Finnish Brothers Back In Brum

The pair spent a ten day trial at Blues in early November but returned to Finland because of, elder of the two, Alexei's call-up to the Finland squad for a tour of the USA.

The brothers impressed during their initial trials and are now back in Brum for a second trial spell with Blues expected to make a decision on whether or not to offer the pair deals at the end of this current stint.

"Alexei and Roman are both with Birmingham again," their father and representative Alexei senior told skysports.com.

"They liked what they saw and wanted them both back, and they went earlier this week.

"Obviously Alexei is the main point of interest for them and we are now waiting to see whether they will be pursuing this point."

Both are midfield players with Alexei, 20, being likened to former Liverpool player Jari Litmanen.
