The Finland international is still struggling with an ongoing knee injury and Blues boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that the on-loan forward could be forced to sit out the game with the Addicks this saturday.
Should Forssell miss the game then new signing Dwight Yorke could well partner Emile Heskey in the Blues attack for the first time.
Yorke was surprisingly used as a left midfielder in his Blues debut at Middlesbrough last weekend.
