Cavaglia, who was on trial with Cambridge United earlier this summer, played in a Blues XI that won at non league Sheffield FC on Tuesday night. He came through the youth ranks at Monaco but found chances to break into the side hard to come by and went to Laval before joining Beauvais last summer.
The 22-year-old defender has just been released by French National League club Beauvais.
