The 27-year-old player, who played well while on trial in a Blues reserves victory over Newcastle in April, is believed to have been recommended to Bruce by striker Christophe Dugarry.
Jurietti, who spent a while on trial at Everton in January, can play at either right-back or left-back and is believed to be coming to St. Andrew's on an initial 12-month loan deal from the French side, where he still has two years to run on his contract.
