Gallagher In The Middle For Utd Clash

Last updated : 08 April 2004 By Brian Cartlidge

The Banbury official has refereed just the one Blues game so far this season, that being the Premiership clash at Elland Road back on 20th September when Blues beat Leeds 2-0. Robbie Savage and Christophe Dugarry were booked on that occasion and Leeds defender Roque Junior was red-carded - Mr Gallaghers only Premiership sending off so far this season.

The last Manchester Utd game Mr Gallagher officiated was in their 3-0 home win against Spurs on 20th March when Reds winger Ryan Giggs picked up a yellow card.

Mr Gallagher also refereed United's 2-1 win at Bolton in January, no Reds players were carded that night.

In total Dermot Gallagher has been in charge of 14 Premiership games so far this season, handing out 37 yellow cards and just the one red.

Be sure to check back at the site after the game when Kwacky will give you his opinion on Mr Gallaghers performance at St Andrews this weekend.
