The Blues boss drew up a list of potential targets at the end of last season and with the Jesper Gronkjaer signing being completed today (Monday) and with Emile Heskey, Muzzy Izzet, Mario Melchiot and Julian Gray already on board, all five names on that list are now signed up.
"We started at the opening of the transfer window with Steve's wish list of five players and I was thinking to myself that if we get three of those I'll be thrilled," the Blues chairman told Sky Sports News.
"To actually achieve all five is just remarkable and I'm very pleased for Steve, for Birmingham City Football Club and for the fans.
"I think this sends out a message to everybody that we are taking this seriously."
