“Hopefully Christophe will be with us for another season at least. Of course we want to keep such a talented player," Gold told the Press Association.
“Like the manager and the 30,000 fans who watch him in action every week, the board are delighted to see such a quality player in the team and he is such a nice man as well.
“What Christophe does is bring the best out of those around him. Huge gaps open up every time he gets the ball. We are very hopeful he will stay.”
