Horsfield could start

The Blues boss is considering playing Horsfield from the start of the game against his old club - Horsfield has been used mainly from the sub's bench for most games so far this season.

Clinton Morrison is struggling with a groin strain and with Horsfield keen to start against his old club, Bruce could change his attacking options in a game that Blues are keen to pick up maximum points against a side who have lost their last four and are without a win in their last five Premiership games.

"I’ll be making a decision about Geoff over the next 24 hours," Bruce told the clubs official website.

"I’m aware of his desire to play against his former club and I know that if he plays he will want to do well against them."

Stan Lazaridis is also in line for a return to Bruce's starting line-up - Lazaridis was left on the sidelines for last weekend's defeat at Chelsea, but the Aussie winger replaced Darryl Powell before half-time at Stamford Bridge and is set to keep his place.
