Horsfield may need op

Horsfield, who begins a three-game suspension after Wednesday's game at Leeds, has been playing through the pain barrier as the injury crisis at St. Andrew's worsens by the game.

Bruce said: “We don’t know if Horsfield will need an operation but he is very sore with his groin.

“It is a distinct possibility that he may need surgery but we don’t know just yet.

"We will have to see how he goes along.”
