Last updated : 01 October 2004 By Brian Cartlidge
Blues have already had the pleasure of the South Yorkshire official refereeing one of their games this season. Mr Webb was the man in the middle for Blues opening game of the season against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on August 14th.

Blued had four players cautioned that day - Robbie Savage, Muzzy Izzet, Martin Taylor and Stan Lazaridis all given yellow cards.

Howard Webb has not refereed a Magpies game yet this season. His last game in charge of a Newcastle game was in their 1-0 defeat to Tottenham at White Hart Lane on 14th March 2004 and no players from either side were cautioned on that occasion.

Mr. D Morrison and Mr. G Turner will be Howard Webb's assistants at St Andrew's on Sunday.
