Keith Bertschin's side were 2-0 up inside the first ten minutes of the game at The Galpharm Stadium with goals from Gary Dicker and Mikael Forssell.

Just eight minutes later Forssell put the game behond the home side with his second of the afternoon and Blues' third.

Blues Reserves went into the game as league leaders just a point clear of Nottingham Forest in second place but with Forest managing only a draw against Leeds Reserves, Bertschin's side now just need just one point from their final game of the season at Shrewsbury Town next week to be sure of winning the Pontin's Holidays Division One Central League title.
