Hyde released by Blues

Last updated : 22 November 2002 By Brian Cartlidge
Hyde, signed by former Blues boss Trevor Francis from Sheffield Wednesday in 1999, has struggled to get into the first team since the arrival of Steve Bruce at St. Andrew's last year.

The 32-year-old has recently been on a two month loan deal at second division side Peterborough United and last season had a similar spell with Chesterfield.

Hyde, who's contract was due to run out next June, is now on the look-out for a new club - we wish him well for the future.
