The Blues top scorer with nineteen goals already this season will come face to face with his Finland international colleague in the live television clash on saturday evening and the Liverpool centre-back knows what a tough game lies ahead of him.
"Forssell is a good player and someone I know well from working with him with the national team of Finland," Hyypia told his clubs official website.
"He is their key player, their best player. We will have to watch him closely but at the same time be aware that they have other good players as well.
"Forssell is a friend of mine but we'll forget about friendships on Saturday afternoon because this is a game we have to win."
