Injuries update

With a must win game coming up at home to Barnsley on Saturday, it looks as if Steve Bruce will have close to a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time since he took over at the club.

Arkadiusz Bak

Bak has been out with a damaged ankle but he is now back in training and should be fit for selection for the Barnsley game.

Stan Lazaridis
Stan damaged his ankle in the abandoned game against Crewe but he should be available at the weekend.

Danny Sonner
Following an Achilles injury he played his first 90 minutes football for 14 weeks in the reserves game at WBA, scoring the second goal.

Steve Vickers
Returned to training last week following his thigh laceration and should be available for the Barnsley match.

Joey Hutchinson

Been on the side-lines with an hamstring injury but is progressing well and he is now back in training.

Graham Hyde
Played his first competitive game for 6 weeks in the reserves victory over WBA following his calf injury.

Dele Adebola
Continues to recover after knee ligament surgery and is expected to be back in full training by the end of February.

Carlos Ferrari
Still recovering from a broken bone in his foot and he too is likely to return to training at the end of this month.
