Wales: Robbie Savage

Blues midfielder Robbie Savage has been named in Wales manager Mark Hughes' squad for the games against Azerbaijan in Baku on 4th September and Northern Ireland in Cardiff on 8th September.




Northern Ireland: Damien Johnson & Maik Taylor

Taylor and DJ have been named in manager Lawrie Sanchez's squad for their Group Six games against Poland at Windsor Park on 4th September and then Wales in Cardiff four days later.





Republic Of Ireland: Clinton Morrison & Kenny Cunningham

The Blues pair have been named in manager Brian Kerrs 24-man squad for the games against Cyprus at Lansdowne Road on Saturday, September 4th and then against Switzerland in Basle on Wednesday September 8th.




Denmark: Jesper Gronkjaer

The Blues winger has been named in Danish coach Morten Olsen's 21-man squad for their World Cup 2006 qualifier against Ukraine on September 4th.





Finland: Mikael Forssell

The Blues on-loan striker, who was forced to sit out Finlands last qualifying game against Romania earlier this month after going down with a fever, has been named in a relatively small 17-man Finland squad for the game against Andorra on September 4th.



England: Matty Upson


The Blues centre back has been selected in manager Sven-Göran Eriksson's 23-man squad for the qualifiers against Austria in Vienna on Saturday 4th September and Poland in Chorzow four days later.




Trinidad & Tobago: Stern John


Blues Striker Stern John is one of ten UK based players named in coach Bertille St Clair's squad for their two World Cup qualifying matches against St Kitts/Nevis on September 4th and Mexico four days later.
