The former Arsenal trainee has signed for Blues on a free transfer but is unable to play first team football until the transfer window opens in January.
"This is a great opportunity for him. It was his biggest dream to come back to England," Hojsted's agent Jakap Storustovu has said.
"The deal is all done, he has signed and passed his medical and he is now waiting for the clearance to come through."
