Now Clapham is hoping for a recall into Steve Bruce's first team squad after six weeks out with a bout of shingles.
He has said that he has been training for the last two weeks with no reaction to the hamstring injury which he had been suffering with before the bout of shingles and will leave it to the manager to decide as and when he should return to the first team squad.
