The Reggae Boyz went down to a 41st minute strike by Jairo Patino in a game played in temperatures close to 100 degrees at the Orange Bowl Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Jamaica, who are still in with a chance of advancing to the second round, play their second game against Guatemala on Tuesday.
