Johnson Withdraws From Northern Ireland Squad

DJ was named in manager Lawrie Sanchez's squad for the friendly game at Windsor Park, Belfast on Wednesday, 28th April having been rested for their last game against Estonia in March, but has had to pull out because of an ankle injury.

Blues will have one representative in the squad however in keeper Maik Taylor, who was named captain of the Northern Ireland team for the friendly against Estonia when they recorded their first win in 16 games with a 1-0 victory. Will he be named skipper again?

Elsewhere, on-loan striker Mikael Forssell has also withdrawn from the Finland squad for their friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Blues top-scorer is struggling with a knee injury.
