As part of the Football Aid charity, I am being sponsored to play at St Andrews sometime in May (date to be confirmed). I will be taking David Dunn's number 10 shirt, and running (or running around aimlessly in) the midfield for the home side for 90 minutes.

So, if you've ever read one of my reports and thought 'Well, I'd like to see him give it a go!', here's your chance to make it happen - I await Damien Johnson's email!

Any sponsors would be greatly appreciated, and all the money goes to a number of good causes, details of which can be found below or on www.footballaid.com

For details of how to sponsor me, or for any further information, please email me at ron_barker@hotmail.com

Would you too like to play where your heroes play in 2005?

Do you dream of being a defensive dynamo, a midfield maestro or silky striker for Birmingham City at St. Andrews? Whatever your position, whatever your ability, whatever your dream, we have a shirt with your name on it for you...

Football Aid are giving our players the chance to secure their place for season 2005 now! Positions can be secured in one of the following ways:

"SPONSORED TO PLAY" - These limited positions are available on a first come first served basis, the players who apply first and are allocated the position are then given until January 2005 to raise the minimum amount in sponsorship funds. This is a unique opportunity for our fans to raise the money required to play over an extended period of time and have fun raising it too!

"BUY NOW, PLAY LATER" - For a fixed fee, these limited
positions can be secured now by contacting us and
making the full payment immediately.

"BID TO PLAY" - From January 2005, join our online auction and fight for your place. However you choose to take part don't get left on the bench, call our sales team on 0131 220 5999, e-mail info@footballaid.com for more details or register now at www.footballaid.com

Remember the money you raise will go towards helping charities chosen by your club as well as those chosen by Football Aid. For full details of prices and positions available just visit the individual club pages on our website. Terms and conditions apply and all players will have to register and agree to these conditions before taking part.
