Just Blues In For Mills?

Mills has just completed a season-long loan deal at Middlesbrough but they seem to have lulled their interest in making his move to The Riverside permanent after failing to match the four-year, £30,000-per-week, deal he is still on at Elland Road.

However, reports suggest that Blues are ready to match his wage demands and are optimistic of persuading the former Charlton star to move to St Andrews.

Manager Steve Bruce looks sure to add another right back to the Blues squad over the summer and reports of an interest in Chelsea defender Mario Melchiot seemed to have died down following news earlier this week that if he leaves Stamford Bridge it will be to a club playing European football this coming season.

Bruce tried to sign England right back Mills on loan at the beginning of last season and he reluctantly admitted showing renewed interest a fortnight ago.

Newcastle have denied any interest, whilst Manchester City have admitted that they also cannot meet the players wage demands.
