Kelly Helps Ireland To Draw

The Blues right-back played the full ninety minutes of the 1-1 draw in manager Giovanni Trapatonni's first game in charge of the Ireland side.

Marko Pantelic opened the scoring for the hosts on 75 minutes but Wolves striker Andy Keogh salvaged a draw for the Irish in the final minute of the match at Croke Park, Dublin.

The Republic are in action again this coming Thursday when they take on Colombia at Fulham's Craven Cottage ground.

Republic of Ireland: Kiely, Kelly, Dunne, McShane, Delaney, Duff, Miller, Whelan, Hunt (Keogh 80), Keane (Murphy 69), Doyle (Long 86). Subs not used: Joe Murphy, O'Shea, McPhail, Scannell, Foley, Hoolahan, Westwood, Bruce, Garvan.

Serbia: Stojkovic, Rukavina, Ivanovic, Rajkovic, Dragutinovic, Lola, Kuzmanovic, Jankovic, Babovic (Markovic 80), Ilic (Kacar 86), Lazovic (Pantelic 69). Subs not used: Kahriman, Kolarov, Vidic, Zigic, Despotovic.
