Phiilips has not featured for Blues since the FA Cup 4th Round replay victory against Nottingham Forest on 12th January because of the injury but manager Alex McLeish has confirmed that the 36-year-old striker is fit again and will be in his squad for the game against Mick McCarthy's men at St Andrews on Sunday lunchtime.
"Kevin is back in the squad," McLeish said.
* There will be a mark of respect at Sunday's game for former Blues goalkeeper and manager Gil Merrick, who died on Wednesday afternoon at the age of 88.
Merrick made a club record 551 appearances for Blues between 1939 and 1960 and was manager of the team that won the League Cup in 1963.
