Blues boss Alex McLeish has confirmed that he expects his leading goalscorer this season to step up his comeback from a hamstring injury next week. "We've got to exercise caution with Kevin and make sure he's right," McLeish told the Birmingham Mail. "He will be back in light training next week and then hopefully joining in with the main group after that. "With Kevin out, it's again an opportunity for the other strikers to step up and take on his mantle."
