Blues are keen to hold onto their 2007-08 player of the season but with a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing the Swedish international midfielder they will find it difficult to hold onto Larsson over the close season. "There are four or five clubs interested in taking him, but Newcastle and Blackburn are the main ones. "Larsson is just waiting to see if someone will offer the right kind of money but he has made it clear to Birmingham that he does not want to stay."
"His agent has made it clear to Birmingham that Larsson does not want to be in the Championship next season and that he wants to be in the Premier League," a source is said to have told the Daily Star.
"Birmingham do not appear to want to negotiate at the moment.
