Left back Capaldi, a regular in the Reserve team, has never played a first-team game for Blues since signing professional forms at St. Andrew's in 1998 and has been overtaken in terms of first team recognition by youngster Matt Sadler.

Luntala, who had trials at Wolves and Grimsby at the beginning of the season, became a regular in the Blues squad under former boss Trevor Francis but after a promising start at St. Andrew's his form dipped and he has failed to be considered under new boss Steve Bruce.
