The Northern Ireland international goalkkeper will be required as the club's other senior goalkeeper for the Wembley encounter against The Gunners on 27th February as Colin Doyle is cup-tied after playing in the competition whilsr on loan at Coventry City earlier in the season.
Blues boss Alex McLeish said: "It is looking good for Maik with his shoulder.
"He did a training session today (Thursday) and he's on course to give Ben the cover."
